Poor Man’s Husband Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, cooked rice, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the casserole.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
