Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef

- 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked egg noodles with the meat mixture and stir until the noodles are evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the sour cream over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
