Ingredients
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 slices of ham
- 6 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Start by flattening each chicken breast using a meat mallet until about a half-inch thick.
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each chicken breast.
Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on top of the mayonnaise side of the breast.
Roll up the chicken breast tightly, securing it with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
Dredge each chicken roll in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides.
Transfer the chicken rolls to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked.
