Cheesy Ground Beef and Potato Bake with Cheddar

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by the ground beef mixture.
Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef, then sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
Repeat with another layer of potatoes, the remaining beef mixture, the rest of the soup mixture, and finish with the remaining cheese on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley and serving.
